Day 01: Drive From Kathmandu to Machhakhola 815m.
You drive today 8,10 hours from Kathmandu to Machhakhola. Driving hours depends on Road condition. You drive pitch Road up to Dhadingbesi then you drive off Road to Machhakhola. The Total driving is approx 166k from Kathmandu to Machhakhola. Driving Options:- You can drive by Private Tourist Jeep which is comfort for driving but a bit an expensive and if you prefer Cheaper cost then you can drive by Local (Public Bus). After the Sotikhola Village you drive along the small villages and you see the Millet, Rice, maize terrace and suspension bridges. There you get only the simple bed, Nepalese Dalbhat (Rice Curry) Black Tea, Coffee,Tibetan Butter Tea, Tibetan Bread and simple item meals. Mu Gompa is very old monastery which was established in 1895 around according the Local People. Way to Mu Gopma Trails was an ancient Trading route between Tibet and Nepal. On this day, if you do not feel comfort to stay at Mu Gompa then you can return to Nile Village on the same day after visiting the Mu Gompa.
