The next stops are Arughat and Soti Khola at the heights of 670 m and 710 m respectively. You can see the giggling Trishuli Nadi flowing beneath as you keep heading ahead on your trek. Passing through some really profound sal forests, you’d reach Machha Khola now, at a height of 890 m. Then comes Dobhan (1,000 m) and Philim (1,590 m). After Philim, we trek for another seven hours to reach Chumling .You’d witness lush grasses and the valley in its utmost beauty and demurity here. Valleys are undoubtedly the most beautiful assets of a mountain, along with the rivers they make paths for. The next stop after Chumling is Chhekampar and then Milarepa cave,Rachen Gompa  with Mu Gompa. There is a mesmerizing wooden bridge on the route and a lot of zigzag treks. And then we move to Lokpa and Bihi Pedi. We descend for a while but the trek is not complete here, there’s a lot of tough and demanding ascent that is still left. The next stop in Tsum Valley Trek with Manaslu is Namrung and then we move to Lho, which is situated at a height of 3,180 meters. Then we trek to Sama Goan and take a complete day off to explore the place well. We explore the Birendra Tal, the Manaslu base camp and also the Pungyen Gompa. After that, we move to Samdo and then reach Dharamshala. The next stop is Larkya La at a height of 5,161 meters. -MCAP/ACAP $30 per person (Manaslu Conservation Area Project) You most entry your permit  at Machha Khola and Jagat, if you do not have then you should pay double at Police Check post.

-ACAP $ 30 per person (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) You most entry your permit at Dharapani.

Minimum how many persons require to obtain Trekking Permit for Tsum and  Manaslu Trek ?

-To Obtain Tsum and Manalsu Trekking permit 2 persons are compulsory. Solo Traveler  can not get the Trekking permit because of Restricted Trekking area.So what for Solo Traveler? for solo Traveler ,Agency can provide you permit by joining the Group.


Why Trekking Agency is compulsory to issue the Special Trekking permit?

-To issue the special Trekking permit Trekking agency is compulsory. Without Agency, Travelers can not get the permit for this Trek. Travelers must join the Group by an Agency. Tsum Valley Trek with Manaslu is Restricted Trekking area. Therefore, special Trekking permits can be issued by Agency.


How about Trekking Guide and Porters for Tsum Valley Trek and Manaslu?

-Government policies  require Guide and porters. Guide must have Trekking guide License. Guide knows the Trekking Trail well, Guide carries not your Trekking bag but he give you more information about the Trek day by day. Guide arranges the best lodges during your Treks  the And porter carries your Trekking Bag pack, porter carries your luggage 20-25 kg. You walk just with your small trekking Rucksack with your Guide.  For your safety Travel, Agency recommend you Trekking staffs. In case of emergency Guide Call to Agency and Agency is able to rescue. All Trekking Staffs have Trekking Insurance by Agency. In case of accident during the Trek, Agency is responsible to rescue and Treatment.


What is Porter Guide for Tsum Valley and Manaslu Trek?

-A person who works as Porter and Guide both he is called porter Guide. Porter Guide hiring is another safety and comfort ideas. Porter guide carries your Luggage 10-15 kg and walk with you during your Trek. He organizes lodges, Give information day to day about your Trek. Porter Guide also must be Trekking Guide license holder.


When to Trek Tsum valley or  Manaslu?

From Mid September to December and February to May can be recommended for Trekking in this area. Monsoon is rainy season, heavy rainfall and landslide in this area. Specially, we do not recommend June, July ,August and until  first September for Trekking.


Can we  get Tsum valley/Manaslu Trekking permit and hire Guide or Porter (Porter Guide) by an Agency?

Physically , you need be healthy and fit for walking. You have rare chance to get altitude sickness on the pass, so you most drink water  per day more than 3 liters and Garlic soups. It helps for altitude sickness. During the Trek do not hurry up ,it does not help the journey and  walk slowly.

We provide you 3 star standard  Hotel in Kathmandu and during the Trek Lodge. You will have simple lodge at Mu Gompa and Dharmasala like home stay. But in other places lodges are good. About meals, you will get continental and Nepali Dalbhat .We serve you menu ,you can order as you like. With your meals you get Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate based on your choice. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner include during your Trek. Hard drinks and Water we do not include that you have to pay separate.

Day 01: Kathmandu airport(arrival)-Transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Trekking permit preparation day

This is Tsum & Manaslu Trekking Permit preparation day.You have time for shopping or sightseeing.


Day 03: Kathmandu to Soti Khola (615m)Drive

After Breakfast from Kathmandu drive to Soti khola. You will drive through the Dhading and Arughat. After Dhading will drive mostly rough road to Soti Khola via Arughat.

Driving time: 8-9hrs

Include: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

Overnight: At Lodge


Day 04: Soti Khola to Machha Khola (815m.)walk

Today is the first day for walking. You walk mostly though the Jeep Road  Valley and Ethnic People’s  Gurung-Magar Villages Lapubeshi.You will see on the way Waterfalls, Terraced fields and subtropical Vegetation.

(Walking time about 6-7h, 1300 m up 700 m down).

Day 05: Machha Khola  to Jagat(1323m)walk

You walk today within the Bhudi Gandaki Valley.Firstly cross the Suspension bridge then walk to Dobhan through the Jeep Road and walk continue to Jagat. You have  today chance to see the view of Ganesh Himal Range which is known as the Holy Mountain.(Also you will see the Waterfalls and Hot spring at Tatopani)

(Walking time about 7-8h, 1050 m up 425 m down).

Day 06: Jagat to Lokpa (2240m) Walk

From today you are  entering the Manaslu & Tsum Valley after leaving the Jagat. Walk through the Budhi Gandaki Riverbank and Salleri-Sirdibas-Philim Villages.Then further continue walk to Lokla via Ekle Bhatti.Today you have chance to see the View of Shringi Himal which is 7161m.

Walking time about 6-7hrs(12km)

Day 07: Lokpa to Chhokang Paro(3030m)Walk

From today you are entering the Tsum Valley and walk to Chhokang Paro through the Chumling Village.On the way you will see the view of Shringi Himal again.The People are Tibetan but now they have Nepalese citizenship. Explore their culture and life style.
Walking time about 7-8hrs

Day 08: Chhokang Paro to Mu Gompa(3700m)Walk
Today walk to Mu Gompa and on the way visit the Nunnery Rachen Gompa if you are interested and Milarepa Cave at piren Phu.You walk today mostly along the Tsum Valley.

Note: At Mu Gompa there you get very simple Room and Meals so if you not feel comfort then overnight at Nile.

Walking time 5-6hrs.

Day 09: Mu Gompa to Rachen Gumpa(3240m)Walk
In the morning walk to View Point for the Sunrise then walk down back to Rachen Gumpa.Same way.

Day 10: Rachen Gumpa to Chumling(2300m) Walk

2hrs approx walk to Chhokang Paro then walk down  through the pine trees to Chumling Village.

Day 11:  Chumling to Deng (1860m)Walk

Walk down to Lokla then continue downhill to bridge. After Crossing the bridge Walk to Deng by following the Budhi Gandaki River.

Day 12: Deng to Namrung (2605m) Walk

Today, from Deng walk through the Gap to Namrung.On the way you will cross the river many times.You will walk more Uphill and less downhill.

Day 13: Namrung to Lho (3170m) Walk

Today walk to Lho Village.On the way you will have chance to see theTibetan  Gompas(Monastery) and outstanding view of Mt Manaslu.

Day 14: Lho to Sama (3530m)

In the morning enjoy the view of Magical Sunrise at Mt Manaslu.Then after your breakfast walk to Sama though the Shyala.Mt Manaslu (8163m) view is highlight for this day.

Day 15: Acclimatization day at Sama (3530m) Walk

Relax your day or acclimatize the altitude. On your choice hike around the Birendra Lake 3hrs approx. 250m up and  down.

Day 16: Sama to Samdo (3870m) Walk

You walk today 3-4hrs approx to Samdo.Samdo is known as the ancient trade route.This trade trail goes to Tibet through the Lajyung La Pass(5098m).

Day 17: Samdo to Dharamsala (4480m)  Walk

Today walk to Dharmasala which is known as the Larkya Phedi.It’s your highest sleeping place of your this Trek. You will sleep at Community Lodge.

Day 18: Dharamsala to  Bimthang (3710m) Walk

Today is your Lakya Pass day. On the way there are no lodges so prepare your pack lunch and drinking water at Dharmasala. Early in the morning start to walk and walk uphill to Lakya pass  5135m.After Crossing the Larkya Pass you will see the incredible view of Mt.Annapurna II 7937m and  Mt.Himlung 7126m.Then walk downhill to Bhimthang.

(Walking time about 8-9h, 690 m up, 1465 m down).

Day 19: Bimthang to Tilije (2300m)

After breakfast walk down  to Dudh Khola through the Rhododendron and Pine trees. Overnight at Tilije which is known as the Gurung Village.

Day 20: Tilije to Besisahar (760m) Walk and Drive

Approx 3hrs walk to Dharapani and 2-3hrs drive to Besisahar along the Marsyandi river bank.

Day 21: Besisahar  to Kathmandu (Drive)

From the Besisahar drive to Kathmandu approx 6-7hrs along the Trishuli River.
