Day 01: Kathmandu-Machhakhola 815m/drive
You drive 8/10 hours from Kathmandu to Machhakhola during the day through the Dhadingbesi and Sotikhola. From Kathmandu to Dhadingbesi is Pitch Road drive then drive the off Road to Machhakhola. Driving hours is not fixed, it depends on Road condition and drivers. In kilometer, it around 160km drive distance from Kathmandu to Machhakhola. Machhakhola is a village where you overnight at Lodge and you start your Trek from next day. At Machhakhola you get lodge for an overnight and for meals.
Day 02: Machhakhola-Jagat 1325m/walking
You walk 8/9 hours from Machhakhola to Jagat Village with an outstanding view of mt Ganesh Himal through the Tatopani and Dovan Village. You cross the suspension bridge, you cross the River of Budhi Gandaki. You walk 1050m around uphill and 540m downhill. Before to arrive Jagat Village you will have lunch on the way where you get Lodges. When you arrive at Jagat there you get Tsum and Manaslu Permit Check post so go to Check post with your all the trekking permits.
You get Lodges for an overnight and meals at Jagat.
Day 03: Jagat-Lokpa Village 2040m/walking
You walk 6/8 hours around from Jagat Village to Lokpa Village with gorgeous view of Himalchuli and Boudha Himal ridge by crossing the Budhigandaki River and you walk through the Ekle bhatti and Philim village. Before to arrive at Lokpa you get lodges for meals where you get your lunch and constantly walk to Lokpa where you get the lodges for an overnight and Meals.
Day 04: Lokpa Village-Chumling Village 2886m/walking
You walk 5 around from Lokpa Village to Chumling, you go directly to Chumling for lunch because you get not the lodges for lunch on the way before to arrive Chumling Village therefore drinking water and some snacks take from Lokpa before to walk. When you arrive at Chumling Village you get Lodges and meals at Chumling. Today also enjoy the view of Boudh and Ganesh Himal while walking on the way.
Day 05: Chumling Village-Chhekamparo 3010m/walking
You walk 5/6 hours from Chumling Village to Chhekamparo which is 9 km around and you walk. You walk mostly uphill today up to Chhekamparo village. This village is big village where you get lodges for an overnight and meals. While walking on the way rejoice the view of Himalchuli and Ganesh Himal. When you arrive at Chhekamparo there is also the Tsum Valley Permit Check Post so go there for enter your Permit.
Day 06: Chhekamparo-Nile Village 3361m/walking
For an overnight walk to Nile Village from Chhekamparo Village and it takes 5 hours around. If you are interested you can visit Milarepa Cave on the way. You walk through the small villages and Tsum Valley which is an astonishing. In this areas Tibetan inhabitants you will see therefore look into their Culture and lifestyle. When you arrive at Nile Village you get Lodges for an Overnight and Meals.
Day 07: Nile Village-Mu Gompa 3700m/walking
You walk 3 hours around from Nile to Mu Gompa but you there you get not Lodge, it means you get there Gompa and if you are interested to stay there you can of course but you have to overnight at Gompa (Monastery) where you get simple Bed and simple means. That’s why if you are not interested to overnight there then you can come back to Nile after visiting Mu-Gompa.
Day 08: Nile Village,Mu Gompa- Chhekamparo 3010m/walking
You walk 5 to 6 hours same way to Chhekamparo where you get cheers Lodge. On the way you get Nunnery Gompa, if you are interested visit the Rachen Gompa then walk endurance to Chhekamparo and overnight there.
Day 09: Chhekamparo-Chumling 2386m/walking
Walk down same way to Chumling from Chhekamparo and it takes about 5/6 hours but it depends on your walking. On this day you walk through the Renjam and Gho Village to Chumling.
Day 10: Chumling Village-Deng Village 1860m/walking
You walk 6/7 hours around from Chumling Village to Deng Village through the Lokpa by crossing the Budi Gandaki River anew. On this day, you can have your lunch at Lokpa after the Lokpa you can lodge then walk to Deng Village for an Overnight where you get Lodge.
Day 11: Deng Village-Namrung 2605m/walking
You walk 8/9 hours around from Deng Village to Namrung where you get the Lodges for an Overnight. Before to arrive Namrung you cross the bridges and walk through the village and forest. Besides, you see the Tibetan Flags, Mani wall, stone and Buddist Monastery.
Day 12: Namrung-Sama 3170m/walking
You walk 7 hours around from Namrung to Sama with an elegant view of sringi, Ganesh, Chuli Himal and Manaslu. At this also you will see the Buddhist Monastery, Chorten and Mani walls on the way while walking. In the evening enjoy the sunset Manaslu view at Sama. Overnight and meals at Lodge.
Day 13: Acclimatization day
On this day you can hike to Manaslu Base Camp if you are interested, for it takes 8/9 hours around for both way. At Manaslu Base Camp you get not there Lodges therefore you have to come Sama for an overnight and if you are not interested to hire Manaslu Base camp then visit around the Sama Village, or walk to Pungen Gompa and visit around the Birendra Lake.
Day 14: Sama-Samdo 3870m/Walking
Walk ¾ hours around from Sama to Samdo where you get lodges for an overnight and for meals. It’s short day walking therefore go to Samdo directly for Lunch. After lunch visit around the Samdo Village or hike to Samdo peak if you are interested go there.
Day 15: Samdo-Dharmasala 4480m/Walking
Walk ¾ hours to around to Dharmasala from Samdo Village. Today you get simple Lodge at Dharmasala and you get simple meals. Before to arrive Dharmsala you get not the lodges so from Samdo village walk to Dharmasala for Lunch. And you will see the view of Naike Peak and Larkya Peak.
Day 16: Dharmasala-Bhimthang 3710m/Walking
Walk 8/10 hours around from Dharmasala to Bhimthang. You cross the 5160m Larkya Pass for it start to walk very early in the morning with Pack Lunch and drinking water. It can be snow on the pass therefore take with you crampons. Walking hours in tentative because it depends on your walking. After your long hours walking and adventure Larkya Pass you get super good Lodges and mouthwatering meals at Bhimthang.
Day 17: Bhimthang-Goa 2515m/Walking
Walk 5/6 hours to Goa Village from Bhimthang through the Rhododendron and Pine forest. Before to arrive at Goa you get the simple lodges for lunch so relax your day with nature. When you arrive at Goa, you get nice lodge for an Overnight and for meals.
Day 18: Goa-Besisahar 760m.
Walk to Dharapani 3 hours around and drive to Besisahar by Local Jeep along the River Marshyandi and through Jagat Village. When you arrive at Besisahar relax your time or visit around Besisahar which Local Market Place.
Day 19: Besisahar-Kathmandu/Drive
Early in the morning drive to Kathmandu from Besisahar. You drive 6 hours around along the Marsyandi River and Trisuli River side. You will have your lunch at on the way before to arrive in Kathmandu.
